The newly built Birendra Internationals Convention Center of Nepal is the state-of-the-art venue for conferences and conventions with sophisticated audio, video, lighting, communications, catering, ventilation and parking facilities. It has seven meeting areas of which the largest auditorium has a capacity of 1046 persons.
Other venues include the Royal Nepal Academy with a capacity for 1250 persons, Rastriya Sabha Griha (city hall) for 676 persons, The Russian Culture Center (200 persons) and the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall with a total area of 35,000 sq.ft.
The Hotels
 Kathmandu has a wide variety of international class hotels to suit every one’s fancies and finance, Kathmandu’s five star hotels are the Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Hotel Yak & Yeti, Hotel Everest, Hotel Annapurna & Hotel Radisson.
The Hyatt and Le’Meridian Hotels are coming up in Katmandu. Outside Katmandu there are some finest Hotel/resorts such as Godavari Village Resort in Godavari (approx. 20 kms from Kathmandu) and The Fulbari (One of the finest hotels in South Asia) in Pokhara with conference facilities.
