SundarbanThere’s plenty to see amongst the colorful bustle of the ancient city and its surrounding areas.

Dhaka – Take a shower of masses
Visit the old part of the city and enjoy the colorful rickshaw, people at work and the mixture of different type of transport. Visit the Sadarghat river front. Ahsan Manzil the palace of the Nawabs of Dhaka. Lalbagh Fort, the Hindu street – Shankhari Paty, Dhakeswori Temple and the parliament building. The master piece of architects.

Savar & Dhamrai
Visit the National monument built in memory of the freedom fighters of the war of Independence. Then visit the brass village of Dhamrai.

Sonargaon
The old capital of the independent Sultan of Bengal, was famous for its trade and commerce till 1600 AD when Dhaka become the Capital of Bengal. You can visit the city’s runs and the Folk arts and crafts Museum.

Mainamati
The dimpled hull range in Comilla named as Lalmai-Mainamati range was the center for Buddhist culture from 8 – 12 century. There are about 50 ruins in the area. Visit the ruins of Mainamati Buddhist Vihar and some other sites.

Rangamati
A hill town rises from the crystal blue water of the Kaptai Lake with a population of multi hill tribes. The Kaptai lake with its splendid setting of lush landscape and scenic grandeur provides ideal retreat for visitors. A cruise in the lake is breath-taking and the blue water welcomes you for a swim. You can dress yourself with tribal dresses. Visit the colorful tribal bazars and the people.

Cox’s Bazar
The longest sea beach of fine sand and the shark free gentle slope will make bath in the beach enjoyable. Visit the Burmese market and the interesting fish harbor. Cruise to near by island of Moheshkhali. The area has an influence of Burmese culture and you can find many tribal people.

Sundarbans
The Sunderbans is a low lying premetive deltic tidal forest, with an area of 1000 sq km of which 5770 sq km is in Bangladesh. The mangrove forest of Sunderbans is an unique place on earth for its vastness and diverse living organism. Sunderbans known as the habitat of the Royal Bengal Tigers.

The magnificent forest is accessible by water, as it has a complex network of rivers, canals and cracks.

Paddle Steamer
Be on the paddle steamer and take the feeling of the last century. Take a journey through several rivers and see the river life and painting like landscape of the evergreen countryside. The trip starts from Dhaka travels through different areas and ends at Khulna. This wonderful journey can be a memorable one.

North Bengal
This area is famous for the historic ancient city of 3BC. Ruins of ancient Buddhist settlement at Paharpur, early Muslim settlement at Gour, palace of Kings at Puthia and Natore, the unique terracotta of Kantajee’s Hindu temple and the Varendra Research Museum, the richest collection of Blackstone statues.
